Technology & Process Development
? Lead research & development of new life science technologies, including materials, microfluidics, bio-sensing, optics, consumables, or device architectures.
? Design and execute experiments to validate proof-of-concept, optimize performance, and ensure robust manufacturability
? Develop and refine fabrication, assembly, or characterization processes aligned with product and research roadmaps
? Analyze technical data, identify root causes, and propose innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges
? Manage technical support to customers and coordinate on customer meetings
? Work with manufacturing/operations teams to transition new technologies from prototype to pilot and production scale
? Develop documentation, SOPs, process windows, and control plans for technology transfer
? Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and ensure alignment with quality and compliance requirements in life science applications
The position plays a key technical leadership role in the development, integration, and scaling of new life science technologies. This position is responsible for driving advanced research, designing experiments, developing processes, and translating innovative concepts into manufacturable, high-performance solutions. The role includes hands-on technical work, cross-functional collaboration, project leadership, and mentoring junior engineers within the technology development department
