Years of experience:
1. At least 2 years relevant working experience.
2. Fresh graduates with strong interest and aptitude in hardware and hand-on activities will be considered.
Skills / Abilities:
1. Candidate with experience in Novellus SPEED and SEQUEL, Applied Material Producer, Ultima HDP and Centura DxZ, or relevant wafer fabrication equipment, vacuum/electromechanical systems would have and added advantage.
2. Good communication and written skill in English.
3. Able to use computer and familiar with Microsoft office.
1. To work as an Equipment Engineer for wafer fabrication Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) equipment's.
2. Improve equipment Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on Uptime, Scrap, Cost of Ownership and failure rate.
3. Plan and implement effective equipment Preventive Maintenance programs. Continuously improve maintenance schedules and procedures. Generate and update equipment maintenance / troubleshooting procedures / specifications.
4. Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures to ensure quality recovery with minimum down time.
5. Engage in issues root cause finding, implement corrective and preventive measures through 8D methodology.
6. Lead and guide technicians in daily equipment maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
7. Train and certify equipment technicians.
8. Manage equipment spare parts and consumables.
9. Engage in equipment Continuous Improvement Programs.
10. Plan and execute installation of new equipment to support the production ramp.
11. For Staff Engineer, perform as the technical leader for respective equipment team. Provide engineering expertise for issues root cause finding and continuous improvement activities.
