1. 3 years working experience in the semiconductor industry, or a related industry 3 years' experience repairing and troubleshooting electrical and/or mechanical systems
2. Experience with IC process tools preferred.
3. 2 years' experience with automation, robotics and industrial control systems
4. Experience operating IC process and metrology tools. Familiar with IC industry practices and methodologies.
5. Hands-on technical project management experience
6. Experience as a Process Engineer and/or experience in high-volume manufacturing a plus
7. Experience with CVD or PVD a plus
1. Develop scheduled and preventative maintenance (PM) programs for advanced metrology and
IC process equipment
2. Maintain detailed research log and notebook
3. Develop and maintain Equipment Maintenance Specifications
4. Oversee & participate hands-on in PM?s and UM activities
5. Perform PM?s and Gauge R&R?s on advanced metrology and IC process equipment.
6. Calibrate advanced metrology and IC process equipment.
7. Develop personnel training and certification programs for advanced metrology and IC process
equipment.
8. Work with equipment vendor field service to quickly resolve equipment & process issues
9. Present timely and periodic reports on equipment status and corrective actions
10. Receive equipment vendor training for all major process and metrology tools & translate this
knowledge to other members of the team
11. Develop and maintain Equipment PM Specifications and various written procedures
12. Accurately project spares and equipment consumables usage and develop inventory plans to ensure optimal levels of these materials
13. Install and qualify advanced IC Metrology and Process Equipment
14. Supervise subordinates & help coordinate departmental resources to meet tactical and
strategic requirements
15. Work on Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) to solve Equipment & Process issues
16. Work with Manufacturing to schedule PM and UM activities
17. Evaluate new equipment components to improve tool reliability
18. Use safe working habits & promote a safe working environment
